West Kalimantan Architecture in Mempawah

As a regular course, the West Kalimantan Architecture Course is an integrated course to provide students with competence in architectural design that understands local elements. West Kalimantan Architecture Course was held in Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan in the odd semester of 2023. For the odd semester of 2023, 3 sites were selected on the basis of the existence of local buildings. Furthermore, the students were in the field for several weeks to document the local buildings as well as to perform community service according to the students’ field of knowledge that has been acquired on campus. As a result of this course, several local buildings in Mempawah regency were documented, which can be used as references when it comes to studying local architecture in West Kalimantan.
