In recognition of the need for balance between theory and practice in the curriculum, the architecture teaching staff organized field trips and guest lectures related to the course projects. Field lectures were held at locations that functioned as simulations for interior development projects. Additionally, the architect who designed the interior of Elsana Universitas Tanjungpura (Untan), Fiqri Sulthony—who is also an alumnus of the Architecture Study Program—was invited to give a guest lecture to inspire students in designing interiors for their projects.
