To support the impactful campus program, architecture students in their seventh semester conducted several course activities in the Kayong Utara Regency. These activities included student community service, a West Kalimantan architecture documentation, and site development in Architectural Design Studio VII. Kayong Utara Regency was choosen and become the last regency in West Kalimantan Province where the architecture program documented local architecture. These three activities were carried out simultaneously and are expected to positively impact the community. The three target villages are Sutera, Pangkalan Buton, and Gunung Sembilan. Student activities in these villages generally involve designing buildings for the village, documenting local architecture with the potential to become cultural heritage sites, and assisting with social and economic activities. It is hoped that these activities will provide students with experience solving real-world problems and applying what they have acquired in the classroom.
