CALL FOR PAPER 

Cultural heritage is inherited, maintained in the present, and bestowed for future generations. However, the modern lifestyle and the new aspirations among the young have threatened the existence of cultural heritage. Cultural heritage must maintain its presence in the current fast-forward situation, such as pandemic spread and “wireless” technology development. On the current trends, cultural heritage requires continued development and scientific discussion as a means of existence and maintaining sustainability, searching for its challenges and opportunities in current situation.

Many experts have carried out discussions on current issues and trends in cultural heritage. Still, there have not been many disseminations of research results carried out in scientific forums, either at national or international levels, especially on the current situation where we are fighting against the spread of the pandemic globally. The scope of dissemination at the international level will increase opportunities to distribute research results in the proper place and strengthen the opportunities for cooperation between institutions. This conference will explore the challenges, opportunities, and current issues through scientific discussion to conserve and preserve cultural heritage.

After the successful performance of the first InHERIT at UCTS, The International Conference on Heritage and Cultural Conservation (InHERIT) 2020 will be held at Universitas Tanjungpura-Pontianak Indonesia on December 2021. InHerit 2020 offers a collaborative environment to academicians, researchers, and practitioners to discuss an academic discourse concerning cultural heritage conservation and its current issues to global condition nowadays. The conference also provides a platform for intellectuals from various fields and disciplines to share experiences and promote better practice in conserving cultural heritage.
