In order to enhance students’ knowledge in the field of interior design, the course lecturers took the students on a field trip to the café Tumbuh. During the field trip, a presentation was delivered by the relevant Architect, who is an alumnus of the Architecture Program Universitas Tanjungpura. Furthermore, the students was directly welcomed by the owner. In his explanation, he outlined the interior design process from the perspective of an Architect in designing a café interior. He then proceeded with observations by students of how the interior was adjusted to the function and theme of the café.
