To provide an insight into the application of designing and using utility systems/building services in commercial buildings, the Lectures of Utilities and Architectural Design III courses, together with the students visited Gaia Mall Kubu Raya. On this filed course, the manager of Gaia Kubu Raya provided an opportunity for the students to have a first-hand look at the utility system in the building of Gaia Kubu Raya. This field course was directly accompanied by the operations director/manager for Gaia Mall Kubu Raya. From this field course, the students know a lot about how the space area and the equipment of utilities in a multi-storey building with commercial functions.
