Traditional architecture as a work, design, intuitive, and human logic then became elements of their culture, which exists and inseparable from social interaction and understanding with the natural condition and physical environment. Traditional houses are the essential architectural experience that is in harmony with the people’s culture, beliefs, environment, and lifestyles. The development of Malay traditional architecture cannot be separated from the environmental factors in which the architecture grows. Architectural work develops by the ethnic groups that support it and in line with the development of a nation. Department of Architecture Universitas Tanjungpura in collaboration with School of Built Environment University College of Technology Sarawak organizing a Web Seminar in Architecture (WebinARCH) with a topic “The Traditional Architecture of Houses and Mosques in Malays Nation: Design Communication Between Indonesia and Malaysia” in two sessions at 7 of July 2020 and 14 of July 2020.
