On Thursday, April 9, 2026, students studying Architectural Design II conducted a field study with RMA+ARCHITECT on VHouse project in Pontianak. The field study aimed to provide direct learning experiences by observing a residential project designed by RMA+ARCHITECT. This field study allowed students to deepen their understanding of architectural concepts, form composition, and, most importantly, the functional aspects of a residence. Through on-site analysis and discussion, the students gained valuable insights into how design principles are applied in real contexts, especially with regard to finding the right mix of spatial layout, functionality, and aesthetics in a residential building.
